Position: Security Architect

Location: Orlando ,FL.

Duration: 12 months

"This is by no means an extensive job description but should be enough to get started.. We are looking for a very technical person with a concentration in IT Security related solutions (i.e. two-factor, IDS/IPS, DLP, Firewalls, Application firewalls, Networking, NAC, System hardening, etc.). We are looking to fill this role as soon as possible".

Essential Functions:

·         Defines and develops the JetBlue Information Security Architecture

·         Works closely with IT Crewmembers and Crewleaders to ensure that all elements of the JetBlue Information Security Architecture are in place and functioning as designed

·         Works with project team members to define information security requirements for all new major IT projects

·         Works with system managers to define information security requirements for all information systems

·         Makes recommendations regarding scope, timeline or budget changes/improvements

·         Researches, evaluates, recommends and implements all enterprise level security solutions

Minimum Qualifications:

·         Bachelor's Degree in related discipline and/or demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities through previous experience and education

·         Six (6) years experience in industry required

·         Three (3) years architecture experience preferred

·         Network-related experience

·         Regular attendance and punctuality

·         Organizational fit for the JetBlue culture, that is, exhibit the JetBlue values of Safety, Caring, Integrity, Fun and Passion

·         Well groomed and able to maintain a professional appearance

·         Pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test 

·         Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
