Location:         Redmond, WA

Duration:        Full Time / 1 year contract

 

Job Description: 

Skill Set:

• Experience in communicating Global Customer
• Data Center Operations knowledge is must
• Should have worked on Windows Cluster and NLB (Network Load Balancing),
• Should have good knowledge on basic Protocols like TCP/IP, CIFS
• Good Knowledge on Deployment tools like Altiris or WDS
• MCSE, CCNA. A very good knowledge of windows platform, networking and Server management
• Performance tuning & security hardening of Servers
• Windows Server 2000/2003/2008 Server Installation, Configuration and Administration, High availability and server virtualization Hyper V
• Installation Windows Server as Domain Controller & Configuration of Active Directory Services
• Configuration of DNS & DHCP services, 
• Device configuration & capacity management
• Configuring IIS to create Web Server & FTP Server, Trust services, Group policy management, Configuration of IPSEC (Internet Protocol Security) and File and Printer Server
• Managing the Server Performance & Reliability, Managing & Configuring Storage use,
• Disaster Recovery plan, Storage space management, Windows Patch Management through Software
• High-level competency of MOM 2005 and SCOM 2007
• Update Services (WSUS), Backup & recovery management. Application hosting management, Security management
• Hands-on experience and knowledge of Enterprise wide monitoring tools, Ability to write technical documentation, Knowledge on Commvault Backup and NetApp SAN would be preferred, Scripting experience a plus.
• Minimum of 3+ years' experience successfully supporting high-availability enterprise sized Windows based server systems and Networking.
