3 - 5 years experience,  some experience working on a Java web application Must have an understanding of object oriented programming, layered architecture, and interface driven design

 

   Struts 1.x - should have some knowledge of Struts

   Java Server Pages (JSP)

   HTML

   JavaScript

   EJB 2.x - An understanding of EJBs is important

   SQL

 

Java Developer Bonus Skills

Having experience in the following would definitely help

 

   Rational Application Developer (RAD) experience - Eclipse users should

   be able to get quickly up to speed with RAD as we use an Eclipse based

   IDE.

   WebSphere Application Server administration - Any experience in working

   with application servers (JBoss, Tomcat, WebLogic, etc.) would be

   helpful.
