Position: Reports Specialist(OBIEE, ETL, SQL Server)
Location: Miamisburg OH
Duration: 3 Months
* As the owner for Enterprise Portfolio reporting, you will be working with various groups within our clients global hq and Operations to understand, prioritize, design, and
build reports/dashboards. You will be working with mid to senior level management to understand their data needs.
Job Description:
• Knowledge of database design and query optimization.
• Presentation layer experience with reports; some user experience background and/or design background in creating reports that look professional.
• Experience working with processes and determining reporting options (compliance, process deliverables, exception reporting, etc.)
• Ability to manage and prioritize a reporting request queue.
• Ability to identify source data systems and direct offshore developers to successfully migrate the data into a data warehouse.
• Design and develop complex reports and dashboards for BI reporting platform with little or no supervision.
• Develop Standard as well as Ad-Hoc Reports using a BI platform.
• Hands-on experience with tuning multi-dimensional data models, creating metadata, building cubes and drill through in reports/dashboards.
• Validating report results against requirements for consistency and accuracy.
• Troubleshooting and analyzing data issues within reports.
• Collaborating with internal customers to provide technical report assistance.
• Enhance current custom reporting and present best practices across team.
Qualifications:
• ETL experience
• Data Modeling experience
• Knowledge and experience with OBIEE (Oracle Business Intelligence) strongly preferred
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services preferred
• Report presentation expertise preferred (ie chart, graph presentation experience)
