Need of a Technical Lead to work on the Commerce API team.
Duration: 1 + years
Location: Minneapolis,MN
Commerce API is a best-in class RESTful API using Java, Spring, XML and JSON. Looking for a individual that can spearhead the ongoing development efforts to add features and to improve the usability of this application. They will also be expected to help the team, both onshore and offshore, adopt more agile practices.
Description of Responsibilities:
· Creating and reviewing design documentation
· Performing code reviews
· Creating and evaluating new technical approaches
· Determining new endpoint names and xml/json schemas
· Designing JSON schemas for existing xml
· Providing technical leadership to the team
· Implementing agile practices, especially around CI and TDD
· Working with QA to utilize patterns and improve the automated Acceptance/Regression suite
· Working with the Security team to perform analysis and improvements
· Working with external partners to solidify requirements and propose solutions
