Role Description:
A JRules/ILOG Application Architect to provide quality analysis of our technology and deliver solutions. The client just bought JRules/Ilog.  The client needs assistance with the overall project scope and requirements gathering and phasing of the project.    You'll use current coding methodologies to support our client IT platforms and contribute to technical code documentation.
In addition, you will attend technology design meetings and recommend security and data improvements to designers as well as work with Marketing and Execution Operations to develop and test new applications while adhering to all IT control policies.
The Application Architect will identify and troubleshoot application code-related issues to provide superior feedback for approved user documentation.
Skills required:
3+ Experience with JRules / ILOG 6.x / 7.x
Excellent analytical, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills coupled with a strong work ethic
Ability to translate business requirements into functional requirements documentation.
5+ years' experience with full development lifecycle from inception through implementation.
5+ years' experience with Java.
Test-infected attitude (strong desire to perform thorough and exhaustive unit, integration and system testing).
