Relevant Experience (Yrs): 4-6 Years of J2EE and Visual Basic development
Technical/Functional Skills:
• Ability to develop applications in J2EE technologies.
• Ability to develop applications in VB5, VB6 technologies (critical)
• Experience in Java and JSF is must; Hibernate, Springs, struts are preferred.
• Experience in JSP, Servlets, Webservices required.
• Must be well versed in the Object Oriented Programming concepts.
• Experience working in either of the web application servers like Tomcat, Weblogic, IBM WebSphere, JBoss etc
• Knowledge on JMS and MQ is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills are a must.
Experience required: Must have 3-6 Yrs of development experience.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Component development as per design specification and coding standard defined by customer/TCS
• Prepare unit test cases and carry out unit testing
• Peer review
• Resolve defects logged by QA Testers
• Support during Integration/Performance/ User Acceptance Testing
• Create deployment package and deploy code to Development, Quality Assurance, and User Acceptance Testing environments Handling of routine production support activities
• Provide support for application maintenance
Generic Managerial Skills: Good interpersonal and team skills
