Position           : Netezza DBA

Duration           : 6+months

Location           : Irving, TX

·         We are in a need for an onsite resource with Data Warehouse experience urgently. Please send us a couple of resumes. The resource must be prepared to be based out of Texas, with the initial 2-3 weeks in Warren, NJ for orientation.

·         Looking essentially for a "DBA" type resource

·         Our stack is Oracle and Netezza.  Given the scarcity of Netezza resources, a resource who is good in Oracle and eager to learn Netezza is acceptable.

·         While we have DBAs who support our platform we are looking for a resource who can work as a go-between the actual DBAs and our app team

·         Performing schema and data deploys, manage / monitor the databases, perform query optimization and review.
