Qualifications:

Considerable experience using Java, JavaScript, HTML and XML / XSLT; JSP and other page template languages; Object Oriented Analysis and Design, UML; Relational Database (RDBMS) Modeling; Enterprise Java Beans (EJB v 2.x – 3.0); Message Oriented Middleware (MOM), JMS; Java Transaction Architecture (JTA); Security of Java and Web Applications (JAAS, SSL/TLS, security in Struts applications, common web application security risks); Common design patterns (Gang of Four, J2EE Blueprints, etc); Relational databases such as Oracle 9i or 10g, DB2 V7 or V8; Eclipse-based IDE's including Rational Application Developer or equivalent; Experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server or other J2EE-compliant application server; web development of major applications; full life cycle development of information systems; analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation of large automated systems; experience using the Rational Toolset.
