My name is Suneel and I am a Recruiter with AVANI Tech Solutions. I would like to let you know about an exciting position that I am currently recruiting for

 

VB DotNet Developer

Location: Whitehouse station, NJ

Duration: 6 months

 

Overview:

Looking for person who can develop desktop client application in VB.NET to read/write to both Windows Registry and to Oracle DB. 

Need to know their way around an oracle database and write SQL queries against SCCM database

 

 Required Technical Experience:

·         3+ years ability to write/develop software code VB6, .NET, and C# developer skills

·         3+ years in building of Database Design and Development in Oracle  and SQL Server (Oracle 11g and SQL Server 2008 preferred)

·         2+ years of Web application development technologies, including but not limited to HTML/XHTML, XML, JavaScript, CSS

·         2+ Experience with developing and deploying client server applications with VB.NET or C# in conjunction with Microsoft  XML Web Services on Windows server 2008

·         High Proficiency with Oracle and SQL server database operations and design

·         Proficiency in developing and supporting custom WEB applications written in VB.NET or C#.NET

·         Knowledge with Microsoft SCCM, OSD, Microsoft SMS, Task sequencing, WIM files, MDT

·         Familiar with Oracle tools, TOAD or SQLdeveloper

·         Knowledge of PC imaging process

·         Experience with scripting languages to automate tasks (i.e. WinBatch, VBScript, Batch Files)

·         MSCE certification required

·         Must be a self-starter and have the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

·         Strong commitment to a team environment

·         Organized and thorough to complete multiple tasks in timely manner

·         Ability to quickly adapt to new situations and new requirements

·         Strong understanding & use of metrics and metrics-based management

·         Ability to work under pressure
