Position:- BA Systems Analyst,

Duration:- 6 Months

Location:- Mansfield, Massachusetts

 
Required Skills/Knowledge
 
• A Bachelor's degree with minimum of 5 years of Business Systems Analyst / Systems Engineer / Requirements Analyst experience. (An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree requirement)
• Must have experience in requirements analysis for the decomposition and derivation of system technical requirements from business needs/requirements
• Excellent communication and organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to develop customer rapport
• Must have excellent client relationship skills and good project management skills
• Must be detail-oriented
• Must have experience with full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) activities and tasks
• Must have experience with the Microsoft Office Suite of tools: MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint, MS-VISIO
• Experience with requirements process modeling
• Experience in system and project management tools such as MS-Project
• Experience working in an Agile software development environment a plus
• Experience in Financial processes (accounting, tax, corporate treasury) a plus

 Requirements Analyst to work with our team of qualified and diverse individuals. On a day to day basis, the individual will use requirements elicitation, analysis, specification, verification and management techniques to translate business and system needs into system requirements and requirements artifacts for developers, testers, technical writers and trainers. The analyst will be engaged in software development efforts at all scales ranging from minor defect fixes and enhancements to development of new applications.
 
Responsibilities
 
• Internal and External Customer and Stakeholder Interface/Point of Contact (POC)
• Responsible for eliciting, analyzing, documenting and validating customer and system requirements
• Decomposing business and system functions, processes and procedures
• Development and maintenance of requirements artifacts which include: Context Diagrams, Process and Workflow Diagrams, Data Flow Diagrams, Use Case Models, and Use Case Specifications
• Development and maintenance of the Requirement Traceability Matrix from customer functional specifications to fully decomposed and derived single testable requirement statements
• Work closely with development, test, technical writing and training teams
• Conduct Requirements Review Boards (RRBs)
• Provide input to Management Reports to include: Weekly Status Briefings, Monthly Status Reports, and Project Metric Reporting
• Provide support of Risk Management activities
• Conduct Lessons Learned and Post Project Reviews
• Development and Maintenance of Operational Threads
• Ensure system requirements meet customer expectations
• Provide subject matter expertise to internal and external stakeholders
• Support business development activities to include: Basis of Estimate (BOE), Level of Effort (LOE), Requests for Information (RFI) and Requests for Proposal (RFP)
