Position: Lead COGNOS Architect /DEVELOPER
Location: Franklin Lakes, NJ
Duration: Long term
Responsibility:
* Design /Development/Implementation of Cognos application s, the person will work as onsite technical lead / Architect on the projects .
Description:
* Work experience & skills
* Essential (including minimum exp. required for each skills) Desirable
* 8 + years of total experience in BI/DW domain
* 8 + years of experience in Cognos – framework manager, reporting studio.
* Cognos Transformer is must
* Prior Experience in developing OLAP cubes using multiple Dimensions and Multiple Data Sources.
* Knowledge of Relative Time Categories, Securing cubes using user Class views is required.
* Experience in designing and developing Cognos Framework Manager Models with Multiple Layers, Parameter Maps, Cardinality, Row level and object
level security.
* 4+ years of experience in Oracle with good understanding of SQL
* 5+ years of experience with an ETL tool preferably Cognos Data Manager
* Good understanding of OLAP modeling
* Ability to run the project from end to end i.e requirement understanding, design, development, testing & deployment
* Some understanding of other ETL tools like Datastage or Informatica
* Some understanding of Cognos EP
* Some understanding of other BI tools like OBIEE, BO
* Excellent Written and verbal communication skills
