Position: Stress Analysis Consultant
Location: Marysville-WA
Duration: 6+ Months

Relevant Experience (Yrs):
 
*    5 to 7 yrs

Technical/Functional Skills :

*    Perform Stress Analysis - using both classical Hand Calculation Method (when applicable) and Finite Element Method - on Metallic and Non Metallic        
      structures
*    Perform fatigue/crack growth/Damage Tolerance Analysis
*    Elect the most effective Stress Analysis method (HCM or FEM)
*    Write Stress Analysis reports, and participate to writing substantiation reports
*    Interact with the Design group to Identify and communicate the need for new or enhanced designs
*    Familiarity with Aircraft Certification Processes and interacting with Airworthiness authorities or representatives
*    Other FEA packages
*    Catia V5

Total Experience Required:

*    5 to 7 yrs

Roles & Responsibilities:

*    Team Member Customer facing

Education:
 
*    Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
*    Minimum 4 years experience in an engineering classification in the aerospace industry, specifically in Stress Analysis of Aircraft Primary and/or        
      Secondary Structures using both: Classical Hand Calculation methods
*    Finite Element Method with a Finite Element Analysis commercial package
