COGNOS Designer and Developer (1 Associate)

4+ years

Candidates whose background and expertise satisfy most of the following selection criteria are sought:

·         Degree, majoring in Computer Science/Information Systems, with a minimum of 4 years relevant experience

·         Software Development Life Cycle Experience

·         Oncall activity and weekend schedule activity

·         Working experience in Cognos 8.4 and above

·         Strong experience in Cognos Report Studio  Design and Development

·         Proven expertise in Cognos Modeling (Cube and Framework )

·         SDK and Java Knowledge

·         Working experience of Unix, Oracle 11g

·         Strong understanding of BI/DW Concepts

·         Datastage 8.1 knowledge

·         Experience in Complex Dashboard Creation in Cognos 10.1

·         Strong skills in IBM Cognos 10.1, UNIX, SQL, Troubleshooting and performance tuning of Cognos Reports

·         Experience in Designing, Developing, Modeling , Scheduling,  Documenting and Testing of Cognos Reports & Dashboards

·         Cognos SDK knowledge and Use of Java/Scripts in Cognos Reports

·         Proficient in Dimensional modeling  and DW concepts

·          Proven conceptual, analytical and judgmental skills

·         Excellent oral and written communication skills.
