Job description:

As a Siebel UCM Solution Architect you will be responsible for leading and/or participating in all aspects of the design, development, and deployment of the Siebel UCM solution and related components (e.g., interfaces, conversions, etc). Some of the activities that you may be a part of include:

 • Process definition and design • Requirements definition, mapping, and gap analysis

• Siebel UCM application design and prototyping

 • Siebel UCM architectural concepts and knowledge sharing related to standard functionality such as match/merge, data quality and survivorship rules

• Definition of the overall Siebel UCM application architecture (e.g., the Siebel UCM application, interfaces, converted data, data quality process, match and merge process, etc.)

 • Establishing and managing Siebel UCM development standards and best practices

 • Siebel UCM development including: configuration, scripting, EIM development, workflow development, EAI integration component development, IRR setup, etc.

 • Test scenario definition, script development, and execution

 • Application deployment planning and execution In this role, you will be expected to provide leadership in all technical aspects of a Siebel UCM initiative. This position will require you to leverage your deep technical knowledge and broad Siebel experience. Additionally, this individual must be able to effectively interact with client representatives, project management, and fellow team members (both inside and outside of the immediate team) in the development of solutions that address the people, process, and technology needs of the organization. Also important to your success in this position is the ability to understand business challenges and translate them into process/technical solutions. Individuals being considered for this position must have the following skills:

 • Superb written and verbal communication skills as well as listening skills

 • Significant Consulting/client facing background

 • Outstanding teamwork skills

• Keen attention to detail

 • Demonstrated analytical and qualitative abilities

• Strong technical foundation including; structured programming – C++, Java, etc., understanding of relational database concepts and structures, knowledge of SQL, structured system analysis and design methods, etc.

 • At least 4 years of Siebel UCM implementation experience (at least 1 in 8.1 or 8.2 preferred)

• Participation in each phase of at least five full Siebel lifecycle implementations of which two should be UCM

• Technical Lead / Application Architect of at least two full Siebel UCM lifecycle implementations

• Siebel EIM and/or EAI skills

• Siebel UCM setup and configuration skills

• Experience with Siebel UCM

• Experience with Siebel UCM real-time and batch integration

• Experience with Data quality tools and integration with Siebel UCM

• Experience in performance tuning Siebel UCM

• Siebel Core Consultant certification (7 or greater)

• Knowledge of/experience with formal delivery methodologies In addition to the minimum requirements listed above the following additional skills would be considered nice to have:

• Siebel Workflow Manager skills

 • Siebel Assignment Manager skills

• Hardware, network, database skills

• Experience implementing other Siebel products such as Siebel Marketing, Siebel Sales and Siebel Call Center Bachelors and/or Masters degree ideally in a relevant major (e.g., CS, MIS, Engineering
