Must-haves
Expertise with F5 Load balancing
3DNS experience (3DNS Controller is a F5 Networks product intended to perform wide-area load balancing and high availability of Internet applications and services. It is able to manage traffic for large sites across multiple data centers, and ensure that users are connected to the data center nearest them. It does this by selectively handing out a particular IP address in response to a DNS name record request.)
GTM/LTM:
-Local Traffic Manager (LTM): Local load balancing based on a full-proxy architecture.
-Global Traffic Manager (GTM): Global Server Load Balancing using DNS.
Experience with: TCP dump, Packet captures, TCP IP protocol stack and understanding
Ability to reverse engineer (very little is documented - must be able to go back, reverse engineer to troubleshoot issues)
Plusses
Experience with Alteon or NetScaler (legacy Load Balancers devices that the team still has)
Experience with checkpoint firewall or proxies
Experience with eCommerce, banking or finance
