One of our client is looking for  SAP Basis Administrator

Location:  Chicago, Detroit, SFO, or Phoenix

Duration: 6 - 12 Months

Responsible for installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance and support of customer and internal SAP and Data warehousing environments.

·         APPCOM/Classic (network configuration and file system, able to support the maintenance (mass start/stop the SAP sys. able to deal with the problems arose...)

·         UNIX / LINUX / WINDOWS (to analyze (locate) the problems without external help)

·         DATABASE (to analyze (locate) the problems without external help)

·         SAP (mastering the installation of SAP system, be able to fix (analyze) the SAP system performance problems, to fix basic SAP system problems without external help (printer problems, work process problems, TMS problems), capacity planning in the SAP system )

·         JAVA (basic experience with JAVA)

·         INTERFACES (to have basic overview about the administered interfaces within the team customer responsibility)

·         Good knowledge of ITIL and its application.

·         Installations & Upgrades, Solution Manager, Backup & Recovery, Instances refreshes, Job scheduling, SAPserv, Output Management, System Monitoring, SAPGUI, User security administration,            Performance tuning, Client copies, Database Monitoring and Administration, TMS, Applications of SAP support packages/ LCPs/ kernel patches and applying OSS notes as required.

·         On Call Support (7x24)

·         Maintain regular, predictable attendance.

·         Perform other duties as assigned.
