Mainframe Developer
Location: Providence, RI
Length: 12 months

Must have File Aid Data Solutions experience.

Overview:
Provide technical development to support a project to achieve data masking in the non-production environment. Requires file aid and NDS skills.
Directly from the hiring manager :   "There is a difference between "File Aid" which normally refers to File Aid MVS and "File Aid Data Solutions".  MVS is a basic mainframe tool, that is an industry standard.  Most resources that have worked as a mainframe programmer will have used MVS at some point in (if not every day of) their career.   Data Solutions, however is a specialized software component specific to developing jobs to create a masking solution for a file.  It is used to develop selection criteria, apply the masking algorithms/encryption routines and batches that together in a mainframe job (JCL) so when the job is run, it will alter the data of the source dataset and creates a new dataset that is masked"
Must have 5+ years of Mainframe development experience including:
COBOL,
JCL,
FileAid MVS,
VSAM, QSM, DB2,
Technical documentation
Financial Services – Banking Experience environment
Excellent communication skills required---
