General Accountability:

 

The candidate would be a self-starter and capable of working independently to high standards of quality. 

 

Scope of Work

·          Develop Oracle based applications.

·          Maintain and enhance current applications.

·          Recommend solutions that can be implemented, after review by team.

·          Make changes to code, perform unit testing, and assist the business team in user acceptance testing, adhering to all change management policies and procedures.

·          Responsible for ERD (Entity-Relationship-Diagrams) and  technical documentation.

 

4.       Skill Set Requirements:

 

·          6-8  years of relevant experience as an Oracle developer.

·          Strong development skills in Oracle 10g.

·          Experience with developing Oracle PL/SQL stored procedures, functions and other database objects

·          Exposure to tools like PL/SQL Developer, TOAD

·          Exposure to Business objects / Crystal Reports or any reporting tool is a plus.

·          Knowledge of UNIX shell scripts is a plus

.

5.   Selection Criteria:

 

·          Technical skills required are cited above.

·          Ability to communicate well, both verbal and written.

·          Superior team skills.

·          Ability and willingness to propose creative and optimal solutions.
