IN PERSON INTERVIEW IS A MUST!!!
The Consultant's responsibilities include all of the following:
•Install, configure and administer the WebSphere Application server and WebSphere Portal.
•Administer the WebSphere Portal and Application Server security policies.
•Troubleshoot the WebSphere Portal related issues and work with IBM to resolve open Problem Management Reports (PMRs).
•Conduct Performance tuning of WebSphere Portal environment system resources.
•Deploy WPS portlets and Portal artifacts to various portal environments.
•Analyze and provide options to fix deployment related issues.
•Code Linux scripts for various needs, such as monitoring space usage, reporting of system errors and automation of the deployment process.
•Communicate with application developers to coordinate deployments.
•Document Portal environment and changes.
The Candidate must meet all of the following qualifications:
1.Three (3) years' experience within the last five (5) years in WebSphere Portal/WCM administration, deployment and development.
2.Three (3) years' experience within the last five (5) years installing WebSphere Portal/WCM and its related software and applying associated software fixes.
3.Three (3) years' experience within the last five (5) years in a support and administration role working with WebSphere Application Server (WAS).
4.Three (3) years' experience within the last five (5) years installing and configuring WAS in a multi instance environment.
5.Three (3) years' experience within the last five (5) years deploying application changes in both standalone and clustered environments.
6.Three (3) years' experience within the last five (5) years troubleshooting problems and resolving performance issues related to the Portal environment, and working with IBM to resolve open PMRs.
7.One (1) year experience within the last two (2) years with coding Linux scripts for monitoring space usage, reporting of system errors and automation of the deployment process.
8.One (1) year experience within the last two (2) years installing, configuring and administrating IBM http server (HIS) web server, plug-in and URL redirects.
