Position: SAP/ Vistex Systems Administrator
Location: Irving, TX
Duration: 12 Months
Description:
Client seeking a SAP / Vistex Systems Administrator! The selected hire will be responsible for the system admin & technical support of the client's SAP platform & Vistex contracting application.
Will serve a key role in the migration of certain legacy applications into Vistex. Coordinates with business partners and supporting vendors in conducting upgrades, enhancements and configuration changes to SAP-Vistex. Collaborates with MIS on inbound and outbound integrations
Performs unit testing and QA for updates and enhancements to the system. Responds to UAT findings and resolves issues found during testing. Responsible for tuning and refinements to maintain system performance. Provides technical support for member sourcing team and the growing number of member sourcing environments that will be created. Responsible for security access and audits for these systems.
Serve as subject matter expert for SAP-Vistex.
-SAP SD, Basis, MDM, PI certifications required.
-College degree in Computer Science preferred.
-PMP certification a plus.
-Min of 3 years SAP experience, with specific expertise in the SD module.
-Strong in SD pricing, OTC, LIS and general SD configuration.
-Exp with multiple lifecycle SAP implementations.
-SD technical skills a plus.
-Exp serving in a variety of supporting roles on a small team as opposed to specializing in one area of focus on a large staff.
-Must be self-reliant, resourceful and drive for results without constant oversight and monitoring.
-Knowledge of e-sourcing solutions and enterprise contracting systems – especially Vistex.
-Exp administering SAP in a mid-size company where uptime is crucial and after hours support may be required in an emergency.
-Ability to connect with business stakeholders & customers with regard to complex technical concerns.
-Excellent communication skills.
-Strong presentation / facilitation skills.
-Business process analysis and redesign experience: strong business analysis skills; process mapping; business process redesign and implementation.
-Systems implementation skills: requirements/process analysis, conceptual and detailed design, configuration, testing, training, change management, support.
