Teradata Developer

Location: Ashburn, VA
Length: 6 months

Rate: 45-50/hr on c2c

Interview: Phone

Skills / Knowledge:
• Minimum 3 years of experience working in Data warehousing applications utilizing Teradata
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with Teradata utilities like TPT, Fload, Mload, Fexport.
• Minimum 5 years of experience working with SQL
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Unix (Solaris 10 preferred) and shell scripting

 

Responsibilities:
• Involvement in overall design approach while maintaining existing standards and focusing of reusability
• Create Detail Design Document from System Requirements
• Develop and Test ETL code in Teradata/DataStage as per the data warehousing standards.
• Analyze current processing to determine where efficiencies can be gained through design or performance tuning enhancements
• Communicate status on assigned tasks to both Team lead and management
