Position:  Oracle Middle Tier Support

Duration: 10 Months contract

Location: Tallahassee, FL 

Start date: ASAP

 

Remote or Onsite: On location at the Client s site 100% of the time. No telecommuting or remote work.

Description: One of our clients, an environmental organization, is looking for Oracle Middle Tier Support in Tallahassee, FL

 

Responsibilities:

-          Support the daily operations (including problem resolution) of the Oracle application servers

-          Maintain backup processes for middle tier repositories

-          Install, configure, maintain and upgrade Oracle Grid and Fusion Middleware software on Linux servers

-          Install, manage, customize and upgrade Oracle application server software on Unix servers

-          Administer, deploy and monitor production Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports and J2EE applications

-          Provide GRID administration for J2EE deployment

-          Maintain Middle Tier website SSL certificates

-          Prepare and configure Web Logic servers for new applications.

-          Document and maintain requirements which includes instructions for deployment

-          Research, install and test new technologies.

-          Perform preproduction performance testing;

-          Proactively work with Oracle Corporation technical support processes

-          Manage, maintain and monitor batch processes running under the UNIX Cron.

 

Requirements:

-          5+ years experience with Oracle Application Server 10g

-          Working experience with Oracle Web Logic 11g configuration

-          Experience with Oracle SOA Suite and Oracle Identity Management Suite

-          Knowledge of BPEL

-          Experience with GRID administration
