Job Title: Lead Business Analyst
Location: Houston, TX.
Duration: 6-12 months contract
IT Business Analyst:
The role of the IT Business Analyst is to obtain and distribute the information required to design and develop business processes
and/or a systems solution that supports the business environment.
Responsibilities include:
Maintain the overall vision of the completed system
Lead / participate in design workshops (current state / future state, requirements definition)
Design business processes, business systems, data requirements
Prepare Business System Design document (users view of the system – includes non-package related components)
Direct preparatory and follow-up work on design workshops
Document and maintain the business requirements
Assist with the technical design ensuring business requirements have been addressed
Develop Delivery Strategy and Approach (re: conversion, training, testing, implementation, hardware and software, organization
system)
Prepare Technical System Design documents (specifications document – enhancement, interfaces, conversion projects)
Define an optimal technical implementation of the requirements identifying technical challenges
Verify the technical implementation
Serve as a focal point for technical implementation issues
Identify any technical testing requirements
Conduct and document technical reviews
Provide a current Technical System Design document to the maintenance team at the end of the project
