Role:- Embedded QA Engineer

Location: Campbell, California

Duration: 6 Months +

 

Responsibilities

·         Create test plans, test cases and other QA documents based on requirements and specifications

·         Perform hands-on testing of embedded software

·         Automate test cases and processes using scripting languages

·         Work closely with developers to understand the feature in depth

·         File and track bugs through resolution

·         Maintain QA Lab equipment

·         Work with an off shore team

Requirements

·         At least 5 years commercial experience in testing complex applications

·         Must have strong scripting experience (Perl, Bash or TCL)

·         Working knowledge of Linux/Unix shell

·         Must have strong understanding of QA methodology

·         BA/BS degree from a reputable institution
