Role: BI Developer

Duration: 5 months

Location: Los Angeles, CA

 

JD:
*         Ensuring correct and prompt development of reports and related services to and / or its customers
*         Development, optimization, and maintenance of ETLs and stored procedures
*         Report development, installation, customization, and training
*         Design, code, test, and document all new or modified BI systems, applications, and programs
*         Develop the semantic layer, metadata, reports, and report definitions
*         Database design and optimization on-site and remote
*         Product support as required

BI Skills include:
*         SQL query writing experience
*         MS Access experience/report creation
*         Advanced user of Excel
*         Experienced in creating reports for financial analysis esp. in the pharma industry
*         Light web development/ASP.NET/HTML/Flash/Silverlight (a plus)
*         Comprehensive data warehouse analysis and design experience, with full knowledge of data warehouse methodologies and data/cube modeling
*         Strong ability to analyze user requirements and build front-end BI applications according to specifications
*         Strong understanding of relational database structures, theories, principles, and practices
*         Full project management and development life cycle experience
*         Experience with database design applications
*         Demonstrated ability with ETL tools
