Role               Hyperion Functional

Location:        CA, mountain view

Job Type:      Contract

Position:         Senior  Level

Requirements:   

·        Minimum 3-5 years in business/data analysis

·        Minimum 2-3 years Hyperion & DRM administration experience

·        Intermediate Hyperion Essbase and Advanced Excel

·        Ability to understand and explain data flows.

·        Knowledge of Accounting and FP&A processes    Ex: Difference between P&L and Balance Sheet
What is allocations?  Describe the process

·         FX conversion - difference between Ending and Average Rates

·         What's the difference between actual and forecast?

·        Aptitude for financial data analysis/reconciliation

·        Strong written and verbal communication skills

·        Experience with Oracle preferred

·        Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills   

Responsibilities:    

·        Administer Essbase outlines, security, and Planning performance   

·        User support - resolve user issues    Ex. detect user errors, access issue, data retrieve, understand data flow
Setup, monitor, schedule tasks for monthly Actual & Forecast process

·        Perform data reconciliation between systems and between database    Ex. btw systems - GHR, Oracle, Hyperion

·        Provide user training    

·        Document financial systems operation procedures  

Ø  Other tasks this functional person would conduct include:
                   user access / security
                   SOX audits
                   outline maintenance
                   monthly headcount loads
                   managing actuals load to Essbase process
                   forecast / planning open/close and on-going support.
                   user training
