Java developer
Local candidates are preferred; An in-person interview may be required.
El Segundo, South Bay area of Los Angeles County.(Near to LA airport)
Requirements include:
* BS in Computer Science/Engineering is required. MS (preferred).
* 7+ years of experience developing large-scale software applications
* 7+ years' experience developing enterprise backend system
* Knowledge in EJB3, JPA/Hibernate, JMS and RDBMS
* Knowledge in SOAP and REST based web services.
* Knowledge in XSD, WSDL, JAXB.
* Strong in JBoss, Apache Axis, Apache Tomcat
* Strong knowledge of OOAD methodologies
* Strong knowledge in testing methods and processes
* Strong documentation skills (interface description, requirements, design and test procedures)
* Comfortable with software development processes and tools.
* Comfortable with Linux development environment
* Comfortable with SVN, Eclipse
* Strong in JUnit, Log4j, Ant
* Experience in performance tuning and load testing a plus
* Ability to write shell scripts a plus
* Must be a self-starter who is able to define, clarify the unknowns.
* Must be able to work in and able to adapt to changing requirements and schedules
* Excellent written and verbal communication, problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Must be team player
* Must be able to work off hours to work with offshore team
