MUST HAVE SKILLS

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science or equivalent
• 6 years of experience designing and developing ETL using Informatica and PL/SQL
• 4 years of experience working in BI projects
• Strong Experience working on large volume databases, Oracle 10g is required, 11g is preferred
• Proficient in Data-Management concepts, practices and procedures
• Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills including DDL and DML.
• Strong Informatica development experience
• Well proven skills in data analysis and ability to relate data to business processes
• Experience using CA Erwin or other similar modeling tool
• Strong working knowledge of Relational and Dimensional data modeling concepts
• Excellent communication skills in both formal and informal settings

DESIRED SKILLS

• Need to be able to work with Project Managers, Product Managers, and QA teams. Need to be able to provide status to Project Managers and bridge functional/technical gaps with Product Managers.
• Ability to work in a matrixed environment. Self-starter who can work without a lot of supervision or direction, willing to make decisions without checking with others.
• Must be able to be productive immediately, i.e. top 25%. Lower level candidates will only hurt the project and be rejected. These need to be cream of the crop resources to help hit tight deadlines
• Concerned about reducing technical debt and increasing code reuse.
• Experience, interest and adaptability to working in a Waterfall or Lean/Agile delivery environment. Strong preference for multiple years of SCRUM/XP development expertise.
• Familiarity with reporting tools such as Cognos
• Experience with eCommerce and social data is desired
• Demonstrated ability to influence critical business outcomes in a matrix based, global environment
• Ability to manage change effectively
• Ability to be flexible and work with ambiguous requirements
• Strong networking skills and ability to work across multiple organizations
