Overview:
Business Intelligence Product Team - Business Intelligence Software Engineer
Although the primary focus of this role is Business Intelligence report, metadata and dashboard design/development/support, the ideal candidate will bring a strong mix of full-lifecycle data-warehouse development skills that includes experience with data analysis, data modeling, and ETL concepts.

Responsibilities:
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Supporting requirements analysis for the purposes of building reports and dashboards
Conducting source system research and analysis to track lineage and ensure correct data sourcing and business rules are applied in reports/KPIs.  various data source systems, applications and perform data research/analysis as required to meet client requirements
Provide ETL design, development and testing estimations based business requirements and research into data that is currently sourced.
Performs table and interface design, supports the customization of data model structures with data modeler to ensure efficient loading processes
Perform hands-on design, development and testing with an ETL tool
Working with operations team to ensure services ETL environment configuration and stability

Qualifications:
Required skills include, but are not limited to:
Prior experience working in an ETL environment where customizations are made to a packaged set of load processes is preferred, but not required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
Strong SQL Skills
3+ years of experience with a major ETL tool (i.e. DataStage, Informatica) or open source tools. Talend ETL experience is preferred.
Knowledge of an ETL tool inner workings, appropriate design techniques to support restartability, and high volume data load techniques
Ability to work on multiple small projects simultaneously, multi-tasking and balancing work based on priority
5+ years of IT development experience in developing full lifecycle implementations, support, and upgrades.
5+ years of Data Warehouse experience.
5+ years of relational database experience (SQL, tuning, optimizer, relational concepts)
Experience with Netezza is preferred but not required
Linux knowledge required
2+ years Linux/Unix scripting experience
Excellent written and verbal communicate skills with both technical and non-technical staff
Ability to form durable, flexible work relationships
