Job Title: ETL Developer
Location: Houston, TXDuration: 8+months
Needed EAD,GC and citizens.
Job Description:
ETL developer should have ETL and SSAS skills.
Most of the time the ETL developer will have the basics of the SQL developer but has more experience in the BI field.
• SSIS, SSAS, Data Warehousing, SQL Server, Data Virtualization
• Minimum of 5+ years Database development experience.
• Significant experience in designing complex data models using relational and star schemas.
• OLAP Cube experience (Microsoft SQL Server).
• Expert skills in ETL tools (Microsoft SSIS).
• Experience dealing with large data volumes.
• Hands-on experience with coding and code reviews.
• Excellent partnering and written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of Business Intelligence front-end tools (Microsoft SSRS, Performance Point).
Responsibilities:
• Support Project initiatives
• Designing ETL solutions using varying tools (primary tools are Microsoft SSIS).
• Advanced design and troubleshooting responsibilities.
• Manages resolution of problems and escalates as required.
• Performs predictive, proactive root cause analysis.
• Researching and recommending alternative actions for problem resolution independently.
• Analyzing trends to proactively prevent problems.
• Facilitating or completing analysis, design and programming of viable solutions to high-complexity business problems
• Developing detailed program specifications and complying with project management methodology requirements.
