Position Description:

Application Developer – SQL/DB Developer with SSIS, SSRS, SSAS.

We are looking for a DB Developer for a reputed top 5 banks. This is for the Securitized Product Group that performs Collateral Analysis and Reporting System used by MBS/ABS Research, Sales/Trading, Origination Desk and Investor/Clients.

Roles & Responsibilities:

· Build a strong partnership with Business, Operations, and other Technology team members
· Become a key point of contact between the business analysts and the development team
· Develop applications which are robust, scalable and maintainable
· Perform technical analysis and creating solutions
· Document technical requirements and develops clear, concise information models, such as entity
  relationship diagrams and object models.
· Proactively identify and make enhancements to existing applications
· Facilitate implementation of new functionality through holding training sessions and demos, and developing
  the appropriate documentation
· Ensure adherence to quality standards and expectations
· Develop test plans and performing code reviews
· Manage day to day individual workload
· Monitor milestones and critical dates to identify potential jeopardy of schedule and identify / mitigate risk
· Promote teamwork in problem resolution
· Provide third level support to the Global Operate team and user community

Qualifications :

• 6+ years experience in DB Development.
• 4+ years experience in SQL Server 2005 in a large DB Environment. SQL Server 2008 experience an added plus.
• 4+ years ETL Tool - extensive use of SSIS for the extraction, loading and manipulation of data.
• 3+ years experience with Reporting Services and Analysis Services, MDX expression.
• Advanced SQL SSIS skills.
• Experience in create and update logical data models and create physical data models and Data Definition Language (DDL) from those models.
• Experience in building and maintaining meta-data management and data dictionaries.
• Experience in maintaining and optimizing the physical database structures, stored procedure, functions, triggers etc. as required to meet the business and application requirements on a project.
• Experience in building data access layer.
• Translate business and technical requirements into database components.
• Strong performance tuning skills - should be able to identify and resolve performance issues involving complex code, should be able to optimize the DB access which should interacts efficiently with the applications.
• Working knowledge of ASP.Net/C# a plus
• Experienced gathering and analyzing user requirements.
• Strong problem solving and analytical capabilities.
• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Experience with Brokerage /Secondary Mortgage/ Bonds/Collateral securities a big plus
