MUST:
4+ years NetBackup administration
Must have administrated NetBackup in large enterprise environments
Windows 2000/2003/2008
Working knowledge of Unix CLI for the Netbackup install clients
Report Building in Ops Center (NOM/OPS)
Working knowledge of Data Protector Migration (understand its functionality)

Role:
This position will be lead on a team that is migrating 3 environments into one. The first stage will require a lot of documentation and building reports. They will research current backup windows via NOM/OPS reports-marking how long each system takes to backup and assist the manager in scheduling the backup of those systems. Netbackup policy renaming and standardization-including location of server and product or development testing. They will assist in creating new policies and standardizing processes. Stage 2 will be the implementation. They will be creating a host of new policies and test them extensively as they migrate the current Data Protector backup environment to Netbackup. There will be some physical cable movement and documentation lead by their senior Storage Admins.
