Role: SharePoint Developer

Experience: 5 years

Location : Redmond WA

 

Following would be some of the responsibilities for the role:

 

1.      Handle technical communications with customers – giving requirements/ understanding their systems or APIs

2.      Help customers with technical decisions and discussions as required with hosting and other solutions

3.      Work/co-ordinate with onsite/offshore team with the work items and any such related activities

4.      Own and handle work items in development & deliveries

5.      Participate in reviews and setting up processes as required

6.      Take care of working with deployments teams and resolving and high level issues for the system

7.      Work with offshore Dev lead and architect to monitor overall deliveries.

 

Following is the Job description for the candidate:

 

-          Minimum experience 6 years

-          Experience with web applications development based on

o   SharePoint 2010 / FastSearch /Workflow

o   SharePoint Client Object Modal / Web Services  and use of ECMA scripts

o   XSLT / XML

o   HTML/CSS

o   JavaScript/JQuery

o   C# / Silver Light

o   ASP.Net

 

-          Quick learner & Good communication skills.

-          Strong ability to map business strategy to technical roadmap

-          Expert as development lead with abilities to take technical decision per technical roadmap.

-          Experience working with Scrum/Agile based development would be add on

-          Able to handle customer and uncertain requirements

-          Should be able to contribute in coding/ development activities

-          Experience in writing technical documentation

-          Experience in writing functional specifications would be add on

-          Exposure / experience with Project management basics and knows basics of MS Project and Visio

-          Experience in capturing business/functional requirement

-          Willingness to work  and co-ordinate with offshore team
