Role:-Cobol Developer

Location: Fargo, ND

Duration: 1 yr. can extend!

 

 

Rate: $45/hr

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES

• Understand and utilize Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Understand and adhere to approved development standards
• Interpret technical designs
• Develop / enhance software application(s)
• Ensure test data is properly set up for unit testing
• Participate in code review and ensure that all solutions meet design requirements
• Lead code reviews
• Analyze and resolve code defects
• Maintain and update system documentation
• Report any deviations in project schedules to the team leader on a timely basis
• Develop unit test plans and supporting documentation as needed
• Perform unit testing: Support system and integration testing
• Ensure unit testing is complete by meeting exit criteria (exit criteria is the successful result that must be met before passing on to the next test phase)
• Update the test execution log
• Prepare code for build/deployment
• Identify opportunities to save costs and more effectively manage assets (e.g. process improvements)
