Duration: 6+ months
NOTE: RETAIL & ECOMMERCE DOMAIN EXPERIENCE IS HIGHLY DESIRABLE BUT NOT MANDATORY
Job Description:
10+ years experience programming Core Java, JSP and J2EE technologies.
Extensive (2+ years) experience using Spring and Spring MVC.
3+ years of leading teams of engineers through the entire SDLC
Proposes design approaches for review and agreement from peers and supervisor
Has delivered one or more products/projects to production/market
Has owned a major functional area of the code where they do/lead most of the development
Very competent in nearly all code-centered, detailed-design centered, and task-centered areas
Drives Software Compliance adherence on all engagements.
BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field (or equivalent), with strong competencies in object-oriented development, data structures, algorithms and software design and architecture.
Coding experience using Web-presentation technologies (HTML, CSS, Javascript), SQL scripting, and Unix scripting.
Well versed with industry best practices and design and development standards
Solid grasp of software development lifecycle best-practices, methods, and conventions, including but not limited to Agile/Scrum, Test Driven Development, Source Code Management, Continuous Integration, Domain Driven Design, and Dependency Management.
Possess excellent teamwork skills. Proven, dependable team leader.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Works independently as necessary
Preferred
Experience in e-commerce application development.
Experience working with or developing Open Source projects.
Experience refactoring existing systems to design patterns.
Experience with Oracle 10g or higher, Web Logic 10 or higher.
Experience with MuleESB.
