Lead Business Analyst

Our Client is seeking a Business Analyst/Project Leader to lead the upgrade of more than 10,000 workstations from Windows-XP to Windows-7. We are starting a team of key individuals experienced in a similar corporate project that can facilitate the tasks for the Airport Customer Services department, be the interface with the infrastructure groups and assemble necessary documentation for the Enterprise Project Team. The candidate will be reporting to staff managers and receive technical direction from the department's Solution Architects. This person needs to have successful leadership skills, organization skills, and communication skills. As well as the understanding that they will also be doing actual Business Analyst tasks themselves. Thus, they need to wear both hats. This should also be a more technical Business Analyst.

Skills and Responsibilities include: 

Experience on a team in facilitating the upgrade of a department or company of more than 1,000 Windows-XP workstations to Windows-7. Prefer experience leading the team. - Project management experience desired. This includes managing a project plan, managing the assignment of tasks for multiple software development teams, managing timelines and reporting status to department management. - Excellent verbal communication skills. Candidate will interface with multiple development teams in the department but also interface with the Project Management team, Field Engineering, and other infrastructure groups. - Excellent written communication skills. Candidate will be responsible for documenting analysis and requirements for the department for an enterprise level project. - Some travel is required between main IT.
