A consultant is needed for the Summary of Benefits Standardization Project which is part of the Health Care Reform mandated initiatives. It seeks to deliver standardized pre and post sales documentation of health care benefits to members and groups. We are constructing a centralized database and application which constructs these documents in real-time from available disparate data sources. The candidate will be expected to take existing databases and analyze/develop/test the required SQL, Stored Procedures and Database functions to synchronize data tables from controlled data sources, and transform source data into resultant tables to that will feed a Document Composition system based on EMC Document Sciences. Candidate will be expected to be fluent in Microsoft SQL Server 2008 and Oracle 10g syntax. Additionally, you may be asked to script production control procedures that initiate ETL processes. You will work with a developer who will be writing web based applications to drive data and initiating events for the application. Must have strong SQL development and health care experience.
