ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Install, configure, maintain network services, equipment and devices.
2. Supports administration of servers, networks, desktops and technical systems.
3. Manage all system back-up and restore protocol.
4. Plans and supports network and computing infrastructure.
5. Perform troubleshooting analysis of servers, workstations and associated systems.
6. Documents network and systems.
7. Monitors system performance and implements performance tuning.
8. Manage user accounts, permissions, email, anti-virus, anti-spam.
9. Oversee software and network security.
10. Strong analytical abilities and troubleshooting needed.
Technical Skills and Requirements for Network Engineer
1. Certifications: MCSE helpful
2. Education: Bachelor*s Degree in Information Technology or similar experience.
3. Systems/Software: Windows Server, Linux, Microsoft SQL, AD, Micros Hospitality Systems.
4. Networking: Extreme Switches or equivalent, Routers, Hubs, Servers, Cabling Infrastructure, Firewalls, LAN/ WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Broadview VoIP, IOS --
