ROLE: Oracle Application DBA

LOCATION: Camp Hill PA

DURATION: 9 month contract (Contract to Hire)

RATE: $60 hourly Corp to Corp all inclusive

IMPORTANT:

-only submit candidates that are willing to convert to FTE after the 90 day contract period.

-selected contractor will be required to spend the 1st 2 - 3 weeks of assignment in Silver Spring MD for orientation before returning to Camp Hill PA for the duration of assignment. Travel expenses for the orientation period of 2 -3 weeks will be reimbursed. Please be sure your candidates are aware and are willing to travel.

- The candidates submitted must have at least 2 years left on an H1-B.

-candidates will be expected to to attend a Skype interview

-local candidates preferred or candidates will to relocate at their own expense

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oracle E-business suite production support DBA who has at least 5 year experience of Oracle 10g/11g RAC on Unix with Oracle 11i applications

Large scale implementation (> 1TB database) experience preferably 24X7 Production Support Experience.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

•             Experience with Oracle Applications Patching

•             Experience with Oracle Applications Cloning

•             Experience with Database/Applications Performance Tuning

•             Experience with Issue Troubleshooting, working with Oracle Support

•             Build database scheme, tables, procedures and permissions

•             Create shell scripts for task automation

•             Monitor systems and platforms for availability.

•             Knowledge of restore and recover corrupted databases

•             Install and test database/applications upgrades and patches

•             Evaluate and recommend new database technologies

•             5 years in implementing database solutions.

•             Understanding of different database systems and capabilities in general.

•             Understanding of hardware, operating systems and how it effects software operations that are running on any specific hardware.

•             Understanding of relationship between different software and how they may affect one and other.

OPTIONAL SKILLS:

•     Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager, RMAN, ticketing system, Oracle Governance (OGRC), Audit Vault, AppWorx, Kintana (Mercury PPM for migration)

•             Experience with Compusearch PRISM Application DBA tasks

•     Experience with Sunflower application DBA tasks

•     Experience with OBIEE and Data warehouse solutions in terms of DBA tasks

EXPECTED DELIVERABLES:

Oracle applications 11i production database administration

OTHER:

•     Strong communication skills, both written and oral

•     Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills

•     Aptitude for trouble-shooting and problem-solving
