Need UNIX ADMIN

 

Location: Reston, VA

 

Duration: 6 Months

 

F2F required after phone

 

Skills:

 

• Minimum of five years of system administration experience in a UNIX production business environment with extensive experience on Solaris 8/10, AIX 5.3, 6.1 and Linux (SLES 9/10/11/Redhat 5.5, 5.6) operating systems.

• Experience installing a variety of applications in the Linux/Unix and Windows platforms.

• Knowledge and experience with shell script languages such as Korn Shell, Bourne Shell, C Shell, and Perl. Knowledge of JAVA programming highly desirable.

• 2 years or more of experience with managing AutoSys Schedulers, clients, and Agents. This includes Autosys versions 4.5.1 and R11.3. Must be able to troubleshoot dual and single server AutoSys environments.

• 2 years or more of experience with the Windows server platform and scripting on the Windows platform.

• Should be able to run AutoSys commands and be able to operate in csh, ksh, and bash environments, review or write shell scripts and understand general shell scripting practices.

• Experience with trouble-shooting, and resolving network issues related to the AutoSys scheduling servers and clients. A basic understanding of networking items such as Ethernet, TCP/IP and a working Knowledge of LDAP and DNS desirable.

• Experience with Remedy or other ticketing systems preferred
