SQL DBA

Duration: Longterm

Location: Hawaii

 

Database Administrator – We have a data wharehouse in DB2 and SQL Server for applications.  Desire a technician who is flexible and capable to work on both applications.

a.       DBA - Responsible for the installation, configuration, upgrade, administration, monitoring and maintenance of physical databases.  Development and design of database strategies, monitoring and improving database performance. 

b.      Capacity planning.  Creating tablespace, tables, views, and indexes.  Enroll users and maintaining roles and assign privileges. 

Plan and manage upgrades, fixes, and migrations.  Establish and maintain backup and recovery practices and procedures.
