The Job Details are as follows:-

Role                 :  Java Developer

Location           :  Reston, VA

Duration           :  6 ++ Months Long TERM

Experience

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Java, J2EE, EJB, OGNL, JSP, EL/Taglibs. Experience with application frameworks like Struts 1/2, Spring and Hibernate.

Familiarity with user interface tools like JQuery, Mootools, Dojo, AJAX, table-free CSS driven designs and JavaScript.

Experience with architecting a system from ground up with view and persistence layer separation, modular development and development patterns in agile development life cycles.

Experienced in SQL and experience in databases like Oracle, IBM DB2 or MS-SQL Server.

Experience with one or more of application servers like WebSphere v7/8, Tomcat 6/7, WebLogic or Glassfish.

Ability to navigate on AIX based systems.

Experience with version control systems like CVS, SVN, VSS or ClearCase.

Familiarity with open source projects like Tomcat, Apache Web Server, Commons framework, Maven, ANT, log4j and Axis.

Familiarity with latest technologies like mobile development (iPhone 3.X/4.X, Android 1/2/3, Blackberry 5/6) and app store provisioning for delivery and distribution will be a big plus.

Familiarity with new software development paradigms like noSQL, memcache, Amazon Web Services will be a big plus.
