"looking for an experienced Business Objects resource urgently. Can you please get me a profile asap?
The role will include extensive communication with business clients and other reporting teams.
Below are some of the core skill sets needed:
- Strong Communication skills
- Ability to Create and Update BO Universes
- Experience in Creating and Updating Reports in Web Intelligence and Desktop Intelligence
- Create/Update Reports
- Merge dimensions
- Slice and Dice Reports
- Experience with Cross tab Reports
- Experience with Performance tuning of reports
- Knowledge of universe integrity check, removal of loops and traps.
- Strong Data Analysis / Data Setup skills
- Strong SQL skills
From a role perspective, it will involve
- Interfacing with the Business Clients to understand requirements for changes to reports
- Understand current report and incorporate the code changes to the Universe and BO Reports
- Work with multiple teams to setup data needed to bring up new features of reports
- Document test cases/results and deliver to stakeholders for review
