Job Title: Data Modeler
Location: Bay town, TX
Duration: 6 + Months
Job Description:
This role demands a seasoned data modeler with extensive experience in modeling, designing and implementing data warehouses across various technologies.
- However the strategic focus is towards Oracle 10g, Informatica, Spotfire and Business Objects.
- Knowledge of the Shell Project Delivery Framework (PDF) and related architecture deliverables will be necessary.
- The Client also uses, and expects the data modeler to be knowledgeable in, The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) and IBM System Architect.
Required Skills:
- Understand and Interpret Business Requirements (both functional and non functional)
- Create an Appropriate Data Design
- Validate, Refine and Expand the Data Design
- Deliver the Data Design
- Translates LDMs into PDMs into DDL and manages the delivery of the DDL to the development team
