Position: Informatica ETL Developer who has Oracle Experience w / financial domain exp
Location: New York, NY
Contract: 6-12 + Months

Job Description:
Developer on a team of Informatica and Oracle Developers in our New York delivery center for multiple accelerated project .Work closely with regional business analysts analyze and assess business scenarios & be able to translate business requirements to technical implementation. To create and design data software to load financial and trade data into a cricital strategic ODS system, creating transformation and loading mappings in Informatica PowerCenter 8.6. This includes the development of UNIX shell scripts to control the operation of the data loading processes, building of Oracle PL/SQL Views, Stored Procedures and ad-hoc queries and participating in the design of the overall data sourcing framework and process. Should have exposure to Java, JSP as well.
Main Duties/Responsibilities
• Writing stored procedures and other DB related development for continuous enhancements and project related changes
• Shell scripting to call the above procedures
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are a must
• Support SDLC+ compliance and perform other methodology related activities.
• Analyze Changes to Existing Systems
• Troubleshoot problems and issues within the lifecycle of a project
• Perform code integration and deployment activities
• Participate in functional and technical testing
•Extensive interaction with SPC and various IT departments Qualifications / competencies / experience à
• Experience in investment banking (accounting is desirable, but not required)
• Proficient in Sybase, Oracle and UNIX.
• Experienced on SQL, PL/SQL programming.
• Experience with applications processing large volumes of transactions in the batch mode
• Good Interpersonal skills.
• Experienced in Informatica ETL tool.
• Knowledge of PowerBuilder is a must.
• Knowledge of VB Script is a plus, but not required
