BO Administrator

Location: San Diego, CA

Duration: 4 - 6 Months

  

Job Description:

·         In order to help customer to stabilize and improve performance of their Business Objects reporting application,

·         Able to define a total disaster recovery plan and present the customer with various options

·         Able to work with and manage multiple suppliers

·         Able to perform as a Team Leader when necessary

·         Reviews and integrates all application requirements, including functional, integration, security, performance, quality, and operations requirements

·         Reviews and integrates the technical architecture requirements for the development, execution, and operations environments

·         Makes all final decisions regarding hardware, network products, system software, and security from BO server stand point

·         Defines the application and technical architecture structure, ensuring that it meets the business requirements and performance goals, and that the technical 

·         direction is consistent with the client's long-term direction

·         Leads the application and technical architecture analysis, design, and implementation, and ensures that the product fulfills the requirements. When

·         applicable, works with the integration solution architect on these tasks

·         Reviews application and technical architecture deliverables throughout development to ensure quality and requirement traceability

·         Ensures adherence to all quality management plans and standards by participating in quality management reviews as outlined in the Verification and

·         Validation Overview

·         Works with the support unit to determine how the application is supported in production, including backups, disaster recovery, system performance, and

·         project management.

·         Validates the design with the stakeholders to ensure that the design satisfies the requirements

·         Identifies and communicates any cross-area or cross-release issues that affect other project areas
