Job Title: Scrum Master
Location: Greenville, SC
Duration: 6-12 months contract

Scrum Master Profile:
As a servant/leader, must be able to gain respect from his/her team as a team player and as a leader;
Must be able to facilitate and communicate effectively with teams (technical, non-technical) and all layers of management;
Must be able to ensure Agile/Scrum concepts and practices are applied;
Must be alert and quick to notice differences and issues as they arise and handle them;
Must be self-motivated, enthusiastic, high-energy, and capable of managing multiple priorities;
Commitment to continuous improvement of Agile and scrum practices;
Must be able to resolve conflicts, facilitate discussion and facilitate alternatives or different approaches;
Must be able to lead a team to self-organization;

Support the product development process
Organize and facilitate project planning, daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos and

other Scrum-related meetings;
Track and communicate team velocity, sprint/release progress;
Understand backlog tracking and task definition;
Update burn-down metrics, velocity;
Ensures that product demonstration meetings will be successful;

Support the Product Owner 
Assist with backlog maintenance;
Assist with prioritization and resolution of defects/bugs;

Support the Product Team
Assist team with making commitments through user story selection and estimates split into tasks;
Identify and remove impediments; prevent distractions;
Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a high attention to detail;

Skills and Experience
Bachelor's degree or combination of relevant education and experience
Certified Scrum Master
