MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH ANY WEB BANKING TOOL

This requisition is for a SQL Server Database Administrator who will be part of an M&T Bank Team working on the upgrade project for a highly important banking system. The DBA must be experienced, ready to contribute and do whatever is necessary to make this project successful.

DBA Requirements:

1. Extensive, hands-on experience as a SQL Server Database Administrator

2. Must thoroughly understand the principles of relational database design

3. Excellent knowledge regarding TSQL, Stored Procedures, Triggers, Functions, etc.

4. Adept at troubleshooting database performance issues and optimizing databases and SQL

5. Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to work in a team centric environment

6. Experience with performing design and code reviews (SQL) for critical application systems using SQL Server. Must be able to constructively communicate review observations to application developers and other involved parties.

7. Must have the ability to do detailed documentation where required

8. A good working knowledge of the Windows operating system – 2003, 2008

9. Excellent Time Management Skills

10. In-depth experience with all typical DBA type responsibilities
