Position: Lead QA Test Engineer
Location: Mountain View, CA
Duration: Fulltime/Permanent
- Support definition of Testing Approach/Strategy, including Test Plans, Testing Tools, Testing Standards, Entry/Exit Criteria, Environments, Data Needs, and Testing Metrics.
- Analysis and creation of formal documentation – including project test plans, reports and proposals
- Test scripting and manual test execution
- Mentoring fellow team members, reviewing test scripts
- Manage Testers' work throughout test plan development and Test execution to confirm that Testing is on time and within budget.
- Confirm the team follows the Testing standards, guidelines, and methodology.
- Prepare, validate, and present Testing results, metrics and reports to confirm Test preparation and execution deliverables meet the entry and exit criteria as documented.
- Taking ownership for system test activities and managing unit and integration testing in a dynamic environment
- Lead key Test execution meetings (including defect and change request management) and facilitates escalations (to IT or business), as required.
- Defect management and reporting – Communicating defect issues to PMO and back to client upon request
- Ability to highlight and drive issues forward from identification through to resolution
- Lead test automation effort
- Strong client relationship management skills
- Should have atleast 8-10yrs experience of handling large & complex QA assignments
